Elcometer identified the need for our customers and clients to understand the correct and safe methods to maintain and operate coating and concrete inspection equipment, as well as ensure the implementation of effective management systems to support the activities surround inspection, calibration and testing.

In 2018, Elcometer expanded it’s core services to include Elcometer Education Institute to provide best in class products, support and management system training services.

History

For more than sixty years Elcometer has been a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of inspection equipment to the coatings industry.

We have a highly skilled production workforce that build and assemble the majority of our key products in our own manufacturing facilities. Our UK export team has fluency in several languages, including Spanish, German, French and Ukrainian. In addition we operate local offices in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Singapore and the USA. Elcometer also provides customers with a broad distributor network so there is bound to be a source of Elcometer products close by, wherever you are in the world.

Research

Elcometer commits major resources to Research and Development. With departments in both the UK and Belgian facilities, Elcometer are able and capable of exploring and exploiting new and exciting areas of product development. This culminates in the capability to offer products which exceed customer expectations.

Manufacturing

Elcometer is a leader in coating & concrete inspection equipment, rebar & metal detection. Our products measure coating thickness, climate, porosity & adhesion as well as a wide range of physical test parameters required for the formulation of coatings.

With state of the art production facilities in the UK, USA and Europe, and with a dedicated team of in-house development engineers Elcometer is well placed to continue to lead the field in the Coating Inspection, Concrete Inspection and Metal Detection markets.
